Catalogue of Touch - ‘Hand in Hand’

Commissioned by The Institute of Education at UCL for inclusion in the ‘Catalogue of Touch’ - an imaginary menu of purchasable touch experiences facilitated by touch professionals. Download in full from here.

“Part of our guided 'Break away from touching your tech' series. STEP 1) You will need a friend, two smartphones and some sticky tape. STEP 2) Take turns carefully taping your friend’s phone to the back of one of their hands. STEP 3) Hold the free hand of your friend. STEP 4) Keep holding hands for as long as you can stand not being able to check your phone for tweets/likes/updates, etc.”

An illustration to promote a website set up by small businesses and service providers in Crystal Palace, south London, and the wider surrounding area. (covid19-mylocal.uk)

People can use the site to help get what they need locally during the lockdown. Alternatively they can list their own business/service on there free of charge.

Flyer designed to promote a day of free activities organised by London community organisation Invisible Palace.

Image chosen by the Association of Illustrators for the 2019 ‘Poster Prize For Illustration’ competition exhibition in partnership with the London Transport Museum. The theme was “London Stories”. Created with acrylic paint, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

'Croydon Layers'; commissioned by Transport For London & Wild in Art as part of the celebrations for 2014 - the Year of The Bus.

The design fuses some of Croydon's iconic buildings together in a series of layers, taking elements from The Whitgift Almshouses, No.1 Croydon, the roof of the Town Hall and the windows of the new Saffron Tower. In case people forget the importance of buses in the area, the design includes a range of route numbers that all depart from or arrive at Croydon.

'Surrey Street Market'; commissioned by Transport For London & Wild in Art as part of the celebrations for 2014 - the Year of The Bus.

The design is inspired by the historical market on Surrey Street in Croydon, in existence since the 13th century. The colours, characters, ghosts and international influences all gather together on the bus.
