I'm very pleased to announce that Off The Barrow ( providing high quality art, gifts and creative products from all over the world, to people all over the world) are now selling gift cards featuring my work. They were fans of one of the images, as mentioned recently in their little feature on me. Now I'm in their shop. Grab yourself some urban architecture in an envelope.
Drawing For Life - 14
This is the best from the other week's life drawing. I think it has a whiff of an old master 'cartoon', no? It must be a combination of the brown and black colours on some off white paper.
All Day Breakfast
Here's my latest dish, inspired by the backs of playing cards and the great British institution: The Caff. In the typical way that these islands adopt foods and cultures from all over the world, the classic breakfast includes:
1: bananas from the West Indies
2: oranges from Spain
3: croissants from France
4: the word 'Café' from France
5: hash browns from USA
6: brown sauce containing spices from India
Close, But No Cigar - Age of Reason
I entered a competition, a little while ago, to design a limited edition 7" single cover for an organisation called Secret 7". You can read all about it here. Their goal is to combine music and art for a good cause.
Taking my inspiration from one of their chosen tracks - "Age of Reason" by Black Sabbath, I did this classic slice of heavy metal fun. Unfortunately I wasn't selected for the exhibition but I think it's still worth supporting their cause, and sharing this on my blog, too.
twohundredby200 Magazine
Just a little post to say that I'm featured in issue 9 of twohundredby200 Magazine, at the moment. It's a free design and creative magazine produced by the design studio of the same name. I had to submit some of my work, and they liked it! Download or read your free copy here. There's lots of other stuff by other people to peruse, too. I'm on page 53 if you are too darned impatient.
